I bought this as a gift for my daughter, and she loves it! Unfortunately, it developed a “clunking” noise within a couple of weeks, and she discovered there was a metal piece that was bent. Per Miele’s instructions she took it to an authorized dealer who said the damage could not have been caused by usage, but the company rep was not convinced. To make a long story short, Mr. Vac & Mrs. Sew took care of the problem with amazing speed, and the vacuum is now fixed.
My daughter loves this vacuum; not only how well it works but also how quiet it is. When I need a new vacuum (which will probably be sooner rather than later!) I will buy this vacuum from this seller.
This is a good reminder to always check a product right out of the box – turn it upside down and look underneath – to be sure there is no damage.
