I bought this iron because the retailer did not have the B&D D2030. This F1050 is decent for infrequent ironing, but is very basic. If you have larger loads of clothes to iron on a regular basis, buy the D2030.

Does what it supposed to do, iron my cloths, fast and easy to use,
it does drip a little, but it hardly bothers the ironing
good price.

Works very, very well without spending and wasting a lot of bucks on the more expensive ones that really don’t do any better! Go get one. . . you will be satisfied!

This is a nice little iron to use (except for the water level problems noted in other reviews), however we ended up taking 2 of them back because the auto-off feature doesn’t wake the iron back up when you want to use it again. You can shake it, move it, tilt it, fake iron with it. . . nothing wakes the iron up once it goes into auto-off. You have to physically unplug it then plug it back in to get it to come back on. And BOTH irons we bought did this. The company admits it is not supposed to work that way, but simply recommended I return the item to the store and get another one. No thanks. Two is enough. Better to try different iron entirely.

This iron is the worst! At first it was great, but after about 6 months the steam feature just about stopped working. Also, it is very hard to see how much water is in it due to the red water window.
